Hello guys! I am back with another hybrid process video showing you how I put the Storyteller collections to use in my hybrid Pocket Page album. This month, I am using the lovely Raine collection.
Did you know that there is a subscriber sub-forum in the Lilypad forum for subscribers of Jaimee’s Storyteller kits? Every month, Jaimee offers up a challenge within this forum and offers the chance for the winner of said challenge to request a specific theme or design for a pack of cards (or whatever!) for the next month’s Storyteller kit. This month, the winner of the subscriber challenge chose a carnival theme and I’m so happy they did because I had the perfect photos to go with them.
My daughter and I got season passes to Knotts Berry Farm, an amusement park in CA, so we can go with my brother and niece whenever we please. I had passes when I was a kid so sharing this with my daughter is extra special.
This month, instead of adding drop shadows to embellishments and printing out the embellished card as one layer, I wanted to be able to add some dimension with the embellishments. So I designed with the embellishments in photoshop and then moved them to a canvas for print and cut on my Silhouette Cameo. The video I have for you today walks you through this process.
Please do feel free to share with me any comments or questions or any hybrid pages you’ve been making with Jaimee’s stuff. We’d love to see them! I hope you enjoy the video.
